Started with the Huevos Rancheros over-easy eggs lounging on crispy tortillas, smothered in a red sauce so good I almost licked the plate. Almost. Let's talk about the menudo, as self-proclaimed soup-for-breakfast person, this was my Everest for menudo. It came with onions, lime on the side and these fancy table garnishes I thought were just decor. Nope! They're flavor boosters for your soup. Added them, and BAM--spicy, soul-warming perfection. So damn good! We also tried the Chilaquiles Gandallas con Carne, and let me tell you, it was like a fiesta in my mouth. Authentic? Absolutely. How do I know? The place was packed with Mexican families. When the locals are here, you know it's legit. The vibe is cozy, the service is friendly, and the Mexican Coke? Non-negotiable. It's like the cherry on top of a delicious. Oh and also cant forget about the homemade corn tortillas; warm, soft, and fresh off the griddle, they're the kind of deliciousness that makes you question every store-bought tortilla you've ever eaten. Each bite is a little taste of authenticity, and honestly, I'd come back just for these alone. If you're in Anaheim and skip Lindo Michoacan, you're doing yourself dirty. Just go. And save me a seat--I'll be the one crying into my menudo. So good! ”

“ To begin, the service was very welcoming! I came with my family and once we arrived we were seated and welcomed with chips and salsa as we were given our menus. “ This gas station parking lot has three restaurants that are excellent. I can say that now that I've tried the third: Lindo Michoacan. They need to be good because of their proximity to the culinary hub of Anaheim - the Packing District. I've only had breakfast, green chilaquiles, but I can tell from their menu and the many reviews that they make excellent lunches and dinners. The horchata was homemade with nutmeg, cinnamon and rice sinking to the very bottom by the time I finished drinking it. The scrambled eggs were served alongside the chilaquiles instead of mixed in which I appreciate. The beans were served room temp but they packed authentic flavor as did the fluffy orange rice. The warm red sauces bathing the tortilla chips was just what I craved this morning. Next time I will try a breakfast burrito because my no meat breakfast of chilaquiles cost several dollars more and I hear their breakfast burrito contains three meats. They were nice enough to put up with my poor Spanish even though everyone can speak English. That's customer service! ”

“ Food: 5/5 I ordered the Pozole and my girlfriend some queso birria tacos. I had something in my eye before eating, but it was not a problem after having some of their pozole. The tears of joy cleared anything that could be in there. Service: 5/5 stars. They offer free agua fresca if you leave a review. However, the waitress offered free agua fresca without mentioning a review. Friendly and helpful. My server was also fluent in both English and Spanish. Doesn't change the rating, but just something to note. Ambiance: 3.5/5 the music was too loud at times, and the ceiling fan being right under some of the lights created a visually overstimulating strobe effect. Otherwise there's ample space between tables and was fairly chill. ”

“ Out walking the dog this morning, thinking about how far I would have to walk to get a good breakfast burrito and remembered this Mexican food place had recently been remodeled. I was super lucky because this place opens at 7am everyday of the week. Tied my dog to a bench outside and went in to order. To my surprise the breakfast burrito comes with every breakfast meat! Bacon, sausages and ham, there was also a healthy amount of cheese and eggs. The saltiness from the meats carried the whole burrito, no salsa for me! The inside looks great and the lady at the counter was nice. ”
